Sipi Falls

Sipi falls is a series of three waterfalls located on the foothills of Mt.Elgon, an extinct volcano which tradles the Uganda-Kenya border. At its highest point,the largest of the three waterfalls known as Sipi stands at 95m,the middle falls further upstream known as Simba has a vertical drop of 74m. The furthest waterfall upstream is called Ngasire falls with a drop of 85m.

All these three falls are located within a radius of less than 3km from Moses Campsite. With our campgrounds providing the best viewpoint of the Sipi falls the most powerful of the three falls. For the extended thrill, you can also choose to trek to this point to enjoy the stunning view and the thunder sound of water falling from a height of 95 meters. .

The best way to explore the natural beauty of Sipi Falls and its environs is by hiking/trekking to the falls. Along the hiking trails you will get to see a slice of the traditional life in the small villages dotting the landscape leading to the falls and there are several viewpoints offering panoramic views of the expansive plains below.
